DUTIES: Facade Consultancy, Facade access, value engineering
The Facade and Architectural teams have studied very well the surrounding context (buildings, and environmental conditions). The studies and analyses conducted included:
- Solar Gain radiation analysis
- Glare
- Thermal Comfort (considering air conditioning strategy)
- Thermal performance of facade elements
Based on that, multiple design decisions have been considered including the sizes of openings (GWR), amount of facade recesses, Glazing & facade performance characteristics (U-value, SC, Tvis,..), and shading provision at critical locations.
